Asphalt Soft Spring Setups
The Bump Springs can be used on any asphalt car that is setup for soft front springs and higher travel. The primary advantages of using the Bump Spring are: 1) a predictable spring rate, 2) a consistent spring rate, 3) very little camber change in the front wheels, 4) easier to setup for handling balance, 5) more consistent handling over long runs, 6) and easier on the tires for better tire life.
Dirt Late Model and Modified Setups
Dirt cars can benefit from the lower attitudes and lower Center of Gravity by using lighter spring rates. By combining softer setups with the Bump Springs, the dirt racer can now have better ride control over the rough surfaces we see on dirt.
