Chester - Wide 5 Solid Axles - 31 Spline
Manufactured out of special aircraft Hy-Tuff steel and precision machined
on a CNC. Shot-Peened and Stress Relieved. O.D. Polished to eliminate stress
riser lines. Gundrilled axles have axle plugs installed.
• W-5 axles are used with W-5 and 2" I.D. bearing type hubs (Acro, Howe) or 2" type axle tube snouts.
• All axles feature a 24 Spline Drive Plate End
• 31 Spline Inner differential Spline (Most Popular)
***Axles should be spaced using bolt, lock washer and necessary flat washers to obtain 1/8” - 3/16” of total end play.
The bolt head should be turned to a dull point so only the dead centers touch.
